Where can we go on the day charters?

Our Day Charters travel between Ses Margalides, all the way to Cala Vedella, Es Vedra, Cala Jondal and even Formentera. We also offer day charters to the North as far as Benirras.

Where do you the charters depart from?

All charters on the Horizon 260 depart from and return to San Antonio Marina. One of our representatives will meet you outside the popular restaurant Rita’s Cantina at your exact charter departure time and will usher you to your boat.

Where can we park the car?

When you make your way to San Antonio Marina by car, the parking by the port is only allocated for 2 hours. Please make sure to head directly to the free car parking space next to Café Mambo. It is a short 10-minute walk to the marina from there.

Can we tailor our own charter?

Of course! If you wish to be picked up from a different location, or wish to travel that little bit further, we can tailor a charter to suit your individual needs. Prices will be evaluated on your individual needs in this case.

How do we book and pay?

Whatever your interest, you can select to book with us via a specific charter page, or by sending us a message through our website. The more information you provide, the better, as we can tailor a charter to you much more efficiently. You will be asked to make a 50% deposit in order to secure the boat. The remaining 50% will need to be paid in cash on the day, as we do not have card facilities. Please remember to bring the exact amount with you in order to save time. The nearest cashpoint is a 15min walk away! You are also welcome to prepay the entire charter value by bank transfer. Please note: your charter is not secured until we receive a 50% deposit.

I’m having trouble paying the transfer...

Although we bank with Barclays in the United Kingdom, the account is on the euro rather than pound sterling. Therefore, the transaction is classed as international. When using online banking, please select to make an international payment. You will then be given the option to select a currency, please select to make the payment in euros.

We’re still having trouble paying!

Should you want to secure the boat using credit card details, this is possible. The details will get held with Barclays Merchant Services in the United Kingdom. Nothing will be authorised to come off the card unless you don’t turn up for your charter. The total amount can then be paid in full, in cash to the captain or one of our representatives on the day. Please note that this will have to be paid in cash as the captain will not have the facility to take electronic payment on board the vessel.

What happens if the weather is deemed unfit for chartering?

If the weather forecast for the day is deemed unsuitable or unsafe for travelling, we will try to re-schedule the charter for you. In the event that you cannot reschedule and you have made a 50% deposit, it will be returned to you completely. Any credit cards on hold will also be cancelled.

What happens if we need to cancel our charter and we have already paid our deposit?

Charter cancellations outside of 7 days before the charter date will receive a full refund. Charters cancelled within the 7-day window of your charter date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the charter value.

What’s the travel time to Formentera?

Travel time from San Antonio Marina to Formentera is 1.5 hours each way. We would strongly recommend our Exclusive Charters (10 hours) so that you have plenty of time to enjoy and explore Formentera comfortably, with plenty of time to dine and swim!

Can we eat on board? Or can we book a Restaurant?

You are most welcome to bring your own snacks for the day. You can also stop at one of our partner restaurants along the coast of Ibiza and Formentera should you choose to. We no longer make reservations at the restaurants, as most now ask for credit cards to secure bookings. Please feel free to contact us for our recommendations, and recommended booking times.

Can we book last minute?

Yes of course! Though in order for you to guarantee a boat during your specific travel dates we would strongly recommend making an advanced booking. If you wish to try your luck, you’re more than welcome!

What drinks are included?

We supply beer, wine, cava, soft drinks and water on all of our charters. You are welcome to Bring Your Own spirits or preferred drinks on board at any time.

What do we need to bring with us?

Please bring your own towels and swimming costumes for your charter. It is also worth bringing a dry change of clothes with you too! You’re welcome to bring any of your own snacks and drinks on board. Make sure you have a camera to take some fabulous pictures!
